Born in Huambo, Angola, and currently living in Porto, Portugal, he has a soft spot for storytelling and works across different media, swapping with ease from design, to writing, drawing, live performances and film directing, an area in which he has been honored with numerous prestigious national and international awards and distinctions. His animated documentary short film Surpresa, based on a recorded conversation between a mother and her daughter recovering from kidney cancer, is included in the National Cinema Plan. He holds a degree in Painting and a master’s degree in Art Education, both from the University of Porto, Portugal.
